Thomas Alan Bailey

He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on July 26, 1948, moving to Southern California in 1960.

Thomas graduated from La Habra High School and furthered his education with college courses dealing with General Construction.

Thomas married Susan Vlieland on August 30, 1969 in Orange County California.

Thomas worked as a Construction Superintendent from 1975 until June of 2016 for General Contractors in the Southern California area. He oversaw projects throughout California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Thomas and wife Susan owned and operated Fireside Kennels in Rialto, CA from 1985 to 2001. They raised and showed Samoyeds and Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s. Tom was a board member and President of the Samoyed Club of Los Angeles and a founding member of the Samoyed Rescue of Southern California.

Thomas was a Scout Leader for Boy Scouts of America in Garden Grove, CA from 1978 through 1983.

Thomas is survived by sons David Bailey of Rialto, CA and Jeffrey Bailey of Lake Havasu City, AZ. He has three grandsons, Blake and Everett Bailey from Rialto and Jeffrey from Lake Havasu City. He has one surviving brother, Jerome Bailey residing in Ohio.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 2 PM, February 8, 2017 at the Chapel at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery in San Bernardino, CA.
