Alberta Rose Field

Alberta Rose Hall-Field, age 69 passed on to eternal life Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 3:15 pm. She suffered from Inclusion Body Myositis & Guillain Barre Syndrome for the last year and after many other complications, she finally succumbed to a heart attack.

She was born January 28th, 1950 in Seattle Washington to James & Eleanor Hall. Raised in Ocean Beach & later Clairemont Mesa, she was a 1968 Clairemont High graduate and married fellow student, Gregory Field on June 25th, 1972. She became mother of 3 children, Garth Leon, Beverly Rose & Flint Gregory Field. She educated herself in real estate, acquired several properties and became an

accomplished landlady over the last 30 years.

Alberta was a face seen often at Troy’s Family Restaurant in Clairemont Mesa and at Lido’s Italian Food in Lemon Grove. She was a lifelong friend to many as well as a devoted mother. Her greatest joy was the marriage of her daughter, Beverly Rose, to Bryan Karl on August 18th 2018.

Alberta was predeceased by her father, James Hall, a Federal Police Officer at Point Loma Naval base,

her mother, Eleanor Hall of Norwegian decent and her oldest son, Garth Leon Field who died on September 6th, 1994.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Field and 2 of her 3 children, daughter, Beverly Rose Karl and youngest son, Flint Gregory Field.

The viewing will be

at 11:00 am at Clairemont Lutheran Church

Burial ceremony will be

at 2:00 pm at El Camino Memorial Park.

The wake follows in the home of Beverly and Bryan Karl

at 26035 Bellemore Drive
