Alva 'Gene' Lambert

On April 24, 2014 in Hanford, California Gene went to be with his wife Fran, who passed in 2003.

Gene was born in Pensacola, Florida, September 5, 1929. He had lived in Texas and Louisiana, upon residing permanently in San Diego, California. Gene retired from ROICC, Civil Service in 1993, this is when he and Fran did their traveling. In 2009 Gene moved to Hanford, California to be with his son Larry.

Gene is survived by his children, Larry Lambert of California, Mike Lambert of Iowa, Sally Collins of Missouri, Edie Blake-Dana of Arkansas and Allan Ingersoll of California. Gene has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Jerry Ingersoll.

Viewing is Sunday May 4, 2014 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary I 805 and 4300 Imperial Ave. San Diego. Funeral service will be held crypt side at 1:30pm, Monday May 5th same location.

Weary
