

She was born December 21, 1925, in Mexico to Jose and Josefa Perez.
Amparo married Henry F. Quintero on October 30, 1943.
Mrs. Quintero was a homemaker while her husband was a Carpenter.
She was an incredibly active member of the Apostolic Church for well over 65 years. Those who knew her were never in doubt of her unyielding faith.
Her interests included the Lord, family, crocheting, cooking, praying and reading the Bible. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, and to her God. She was the epitome of love, faith, happiness and humor. She was smiling, praying and giving Glory to God even in her final days surrounded by the love her friends and family.
Mrs. Quintero is survived by her sister, Ofelia; 2 sons and their spouses, Henry and Nely Quintero, David and Tasya Quintero; and 3 grandchildren, David Quintero and his spouse Jennifer, Henry (Hank) Quintero, and Dina Carter and her spouse Andrew; and 5 great-grandchildren, David Quintero, Zachary Carter, Adam Quintero, Ethan Carter and Drew Carter.
Her husband Henry F. Quintero preceded her in death, on November 18, 2000.
