

Antonino "Nino" Thomas Gallo, born in 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, to Mary and Sebastian Gallo, passed away after a full life devoted to family, service, and community. At a young age, his family relocated to San Diego, California, where Nino spent the rest of his life.
In 1954, prior to graduating high school, Nino enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, proudly serving his country. After his service, he met the love of his life, Dolores, and the two were married for 57 years. Together, they raised three daughters: Renee (Joaquin), Janine (Mike), and Francesca. Nino’s family grew to include five cherished grandchildren: Deann, Jenna, and Joaquin Souza; Nicole and Michael Brunnhoelzl, along with two great-grandchildren: Henry Thomas and Demi Renee Shuey, children of granddaughter Jenna and her husband, Tommy.
Nino was predeceased by his beloved wife Dolores, who passed away five years ago. He is survived by his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and his brother, Joe Gallo.
Nino's legacy of love, service, and commitment to his family will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
A committal service for Antonino will be held Monday, January 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122.
