Barbara Ann Ramos

She loved her job and her coworkers at UCSD Medical Center where she worked as an x-ray technician for over 20 years.

She was a beautiful person all around. Her family, friends and everyone who knew her loved her for her kindness, strength, easygoing personality and sense of humor. Her sons had a very special loving mother who did everything she could for her children. She was a wonderful and proud grandmother who gave her grandchildren everything they loved and more. And in turn, they had a special bond and loved her very much. Her thoughtfulness and selflessness showed in the cards and simple gifts she especially chose and surprised her family for every holiday occasion. More importantly, she was always there for support whenever her family needed her. It made her the happiest. Her cats, which she called her "babies,” made her happy too.

Barbara is survived by her sons Joey and Nick and grandchildren Tristan, Bryson, Karlize and Audrina and brothers Ed and Jim Carry.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4-8PM at Goodbody Mortuary.

Her life will be celebrated at a funeral mass on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. John of the Cross from 10-11AM with burial at Holy Cross cemetery.
