Mr. Benito “Itong” Doble Balangon died unexpectedly at Palomar Medical Center Escondido on December 1, 2020 at the age of 63. Benito is survived by his wife Mary Ann and his children Kaylamae and Benjo. He was born on June 27, 1957 to Bartolome and Leandra Balangon in San Juan, Botolan, Zambales, The Philippines.
He graduated from Zambales National High School on March 22, 1974. He joined the Philippine Army and after serving, immigrated to the United States and settled in San Diego, CA in August 1989, where began working at Autosplice Inc. as a machinist until 2009.
He married the love of his life in 1993 and over their 27 years of marriage welcomed two children into their lives. He is remembered lovingly by his family as a strong source of support and happiness, always cracking jokes and doing what he can to bring a smile to his family's face.
A viewing is scheduled for 9am on December 10, 2020 at the Chapel of the Bells in El Camino Memorial. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Itong's life.
