Bettina Barbara Reinhold

Bettina Barbara (Theis) Reinhold, 45, San Diego, California, formerly of Deidesheim,Germany, died at 1:51 p.m. PST, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Kaiser Zion Hospital in San Deigo, California after over a yearlong battle with Lymphoma.

She was born in Germany on March 28, 1980 to Norbert, who preceded her in death, and Gerlinde (Becker) Theis. She married Martin “Marty” Reinhold in Heidelberg, Germany on August 1, 2003. They were married 22 years. He survives her.

Other survivors include; Children, Aidan 17, Milo 13 and Lucille “Lucy” 7 San Diego, siblings Stephan Theis Deidesheim, Germany and Simone (Theis) Behrens Hochdorf-Assenheim, Germany.

She was a graduate of Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium in Neustadt, Germany. She lived in San Diego for 20 Years. She ran a successful child care business in San Diego. She had many friends, danced ballet, had an audience with a Pope, hiked, mastered Tetris, won many board games (through questionable interpretation of the rules), ran a marathon, sailed, sang in several choirs, traveled the world as a travel agent and above all, loved her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at The Immaculata, located at 5998 Alcala Park Way, San Diego, CA 92110, on December 4, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The committal service will take place at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121, on December 4, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
