9/29/24…3 years ago you gained your wings my love… On this day all the ones you loved dearly we all came to the place you loved so much and where you rest Mission Bay we all got together and celebrate your life💙

He always received anyone and everyone with open arms without any judgement. Thank you for bringing so much joy to the family and always looking out for your suegros. You will forever live in our hearts and we will continue to live up to your joyful spirit Carlos. I promise you Mom, Nico, Yanelli and I will keep your loving, caring spirit alive with our loved ones.  Keep smiling down upon us. 

I just want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the family for coming together in these difficult times. Thank you for loving us and being there for us unconditionally, Thank you for loving my suegra and not leaving her alone. Carlos is smiling down on the entire family because that’s what he was all about family, unity, and love, he loved all his family dearly, he loved when all the family would get together. So once again Thank you to each and every one of you. To my Hunni Bunni this is still so unreal, unbearable and hard to accept, I love you with all my heart always will, Thank you for being a the best husband, and best father to our kids. Our memories i will keep close to my heart always. Keep smiling that beautiful smile of yours always. Te amo corason forever and always.

You are and will always have a piece of my heart.  Childhood memories that can never be forgotten. NO MATTER where life took us as adults, we always knew we could count on each other no matter the distance!!! When it came to your girl cousins, you always were so gentle, loving, funny and always knew how to make everyone smile from cheek to cheek.  I wish heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice one more time...lol.  I know you're laughing as you're reading this....  pick up the phone when I CALL you in my prayers please, give me a sign you're still nearby.  You are forever by my side, never letting go of our memories and the love we had for each other! Thank you for sharing memorial moments with my family and I.  We will never forget you're kind, loving heart and smile.  Heaven has gained the biggest gift and that is your heart. You are irreplaceable  Primo Mio!  

I promise you, I will push harder to make you so very proud!  I will continue to spread tender love and care like you always taught me.

To many he was known as Droopy.  But to us he was known as Carlos. A loving father, a supporting husband, a hard worker and to many simply a good friend.  He was rough around the edges but had the kindest, most giving heart. When given the opportuniy to know him he had a good sense of humor. My husband will tell you that he had at length conversations with Carlos. At many times my husband felt he was talking to an Isac Newton, Aristotle, Sigmund Freud, and Steven Hawkings all at once.  He was a man of many thoughts. Always forward thinking , always looking for his best interest and the interest of his family. Even at a physical disadvantage he worked harder than any of us would like to admit. The best things in life are the people we love, the places we have been to, and the memories we make along the way. My memory of Carlos will always be a fond one and he will be missed. - with love, The Castillo Family
