Claire Doris Brockett

Claire Renaud Brockett of San Diego and Cathedral City entered eternal rest on Monday, November 17th, 2014. A lifelong resident of San Diego, Mrs. Brockett was born to Rene' and Marguerite Renaud on Oct 19th, 1947 in Lewiston Maine, relocating as a child to San Diego. Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Lawrence, and Daughter Kristin. Claire is survived by her loving family and countless friends. Survivors include her children Tyler (Shira) Brockett of Del Mar, Kelli (Blair) Pountney of Pacifica, and Derek Brockett of San Francisco. Mrs. Brockett was the proud grandmother of 5. Daniel, Taylor, Tristen, Hailey, and Isla. She attended Grossmont High School and Grossmont College. Claire enjoyed participating in tennis and numerous charity organizations. She was also a proud member of "The Thursday Club". Private services and inurnment will be held with family on November 29th. A Celebration of Life event for Family and Friends will be held on December 12th, 2014 @ 3:00 pm at "The Thursday Club" in Point Loma.
