Clara was born in Passaic, New Jersey on July 1st 1917 to Charles and Anna Maita and passed away on July 18, 2013. Clara was predeceased by husband Salvatore J. Toronto and seven siblings.
The oldest of 11 children, she is survived by sisters Rose and Charlotte and brother Charles, and three children: Elinor Jacobs (Bob) of California, Raymond (Rosemarie) of Arizona; and Salvatore of New Jersey. She leaves nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Clara worked for the Marriott Corp. in New Jersey and the San Diego School system in California.
