

Daniel Anthony Lukasik, age 94, died peacefully on Saturday August 3, 2024. He was born September 8,1929, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Polish immigrants Antonio and Marianna (Kalota) Lukasik. He married Betty Byholm in 1951 and treasured her until her death in 2014.
Dan was proud to live a very active lifestyle, often walking and hiking in nature. He was an avid golfer, who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished watching and talking about sports with his family and friends, and anyone who would place a small wager with him.
Dan was an Army Veteran who served time in Austria. He was a devout family man working hard to provide a comfortable life for his family. He began his professional career in the mailroom at Wisconsin Motors at 22 years of age and worked his way up to Vice President of Human Resources until his retirement after 45 years with Teledyne Aeronautical in California. Dan and Betty enjoyed the golden years of retirement, traveling and golfing. Their favorite travel destination was back home to Wisconsin and Minnesota, where they spent time with family and friends.
Daniel was a person of great faith, dedicated to his family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Jane (Byholm) and eldest daughter Jane Ann Zielke. Leaving to celebrate his life are his children Geri (Nathen) Wesley, Wendy (Edward) Bushman, Mary (Mark) Dodd and Greg (Lucy) Lukasik and his son in law, Gary Zielke. Grandchildren Jon and Stefanie Zielke, Wheatley and Daniel Wesley, Riley (Cortney) Plemons, Carly Plemons, Niomi (Dustin) Bock, Natalie Bushman, Clayton Bushman, Victoria (Joseph) Glenn, Alexander Dodd, and Nicholas Lukasik. Great-grandchildren Jordan, Genevieve and Vienna Glenn. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2024, followed by a funeral service for Daniel from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church and School, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072,
