Darrell C. Pope died at age 76 of advanced lung cancer on November 20th 2013 at 7:07 p.m. He is survived by his sister, Jeanette Bennett 64, and his brother Al Pope, 82. He was born in Utah and moved to San Diego at age 5. His ashes will be mixed with those of his life partner, Bob Gingles, and spread at sea per his wishes. He will be remembered with Bob for the many people they have helped along the way, with education and life.
