David Richard Greenberg M.D.

David was born on June 29, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to Byron and Helena Greenberg and was raised in Long Island.

David was full of a contagious energy, lived life with enthusiasm, and was very active with many interests. He was a Champion wrestler throughout high school and college. He excelled at golf, loved tennis, snow skiing, and above all, the ocean. He was a lifeguard at Jones Beach in Long Island for 7 years during summer breaks and to the end of his life enjoyed the beautiful San Diego bays and beaches.

David dedicated himself to the practice of medicine for more than 30 years both in individual and group practice in San Diego and was beloved by his patients.

The most important thing to Dave was his family. His motto was always "FAMILY FIRST" and in everything he did his first priority was for them. David is survived by his wife, Nancy, his twin brother Eric, his sister Randi, his four cherished children Ashley, Rachel, Adam, Whitney and their spouses, and by his granddaughters Berlyn and Brielle. David is also survived by his beloved stepchildren, Lisa and Kristine, their spouses and granddaughters Audrey and Hannah. A graveside service will held at El Camino Memorial Park 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd. San Diego, CA 92121 on December 11, 2016 at 1:00pm.
