

In memory of Dolores Dela Cruz Dullas March 8, 1925-November 6, 2015 Dolores was born in Mianay, Sigma, Capiz, Philippines. She married her husband, Berlito Ramos Dullas, in a civil wedding on June 15, 1943, in the Philippines. They remarried in the Catholic Church in 1955. While her husband worked in Guam, Dolores owned a small candy factory to help support her family. On December 18, 1973, she joined her husband in Agana, Guam. On December 28, 1973, she started working at the Guam Hilton in the housekeeping department as a chambermaid. She continued to support her family in the Philippines while living in Guam. One of her passions was tending to her garden. She loved to share the fruits of her labor with her family and friends. While living in Guam, Dolores enjoyed the island lifestyle and slower pace by going to the beach and savored the abundant seafood. After 18 years of working at the Guam Hilton, she retired. In 2002, she moved to San Diego, California with her husband to live with her son, Rudy Dullas and his wife, Erlinda. Dolores formed new friendships through her daily morning walks to the park, taking care of her new garden and sharing the fruits and vegetables with her newly formed friendships when they would have potlucks. She was able to see the births of her great-granddaughters, Asia, Leila and Kristiana, and her great-grandson, Nathan. One of her other hobbies was to crochet. She crocheted baby blankets for her great-grandchildren as well as crocheted beanies and scarves. One of the other hobbies she took pleasure in doing was to go to the casino with family and eat at the buffet or restaurant and hope she would be lucky to win the jackpot. Dolores was a woman who loved to pray the rosary daily and count her many blessings. In the last 40 days of her life, she showed strength and dignity through her faith and love of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Her legacy will always remain in the hearts and lives of her beloved family. Dolores became a widow in January 24, 2005. She is predeceased by her sons, Roberto in 2008, and Rogelio on April 6, 1990, and grandchildren, Don, Roberto Jr., Giovanni and Judith. She is survived by her son, Rudy, and daughter-in-law, Erlinda, her eldest daughter, Elisa, and her son-in-law, Eduardo, her youngest daughter, Sarah, and daughter-in-law, Minda, widow to her son, Rogelio. Dolores has 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
