Donald Earl Snyder was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on August 26, 1917 to Florence and Forrest Snyder. In 1934 he traveled to California and in 1941 enlisted in the Army Air Corps. He was stationed in the So. Pacific area until his discharge in 1945. In 1949 he married Jackie Garbers, a registered nurse from New York City, at the Mission Inn in Riverside, California. Two sons, Duke and Bill were born in 1953 and 1954 and in 1955 the family moved to San Diego where Don became an independent insurance agent for various companies.
Don is survived by his wife Jackie, and sons Duke and Bill, sister-in-law Elsie Sautner of La Mesa, California and various relatives and friends in New York and Pennsylvania.
