

Dylan Thomas Zonaras, 20 years old, beloved brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He battled serious complications after being diagnosed with a pineal brain tumor and from subsequent surgeries. His bravery throughout his long illness was extraordinary. Prior to his diagnosis, Dylan played club soccer for 13 years and was on the Westview High School Varsity team. His other passion was computer graphic design, and he was President of the Graphic Design Studio at Westview High School. His plan was to attend college, play soccer and start his own graphic design business.
He was deeply loved and will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Dylan is survived by his brother Grant; parents, Tom and Dawn Zonaras; grandparents, George and Katie Zonaras; Uncle Jim Zonaras (Kim); Aunt Siobhan McKenna, and cousin, Katie Parks (Matt), along with numerous relatives in Ohio and overseas.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 3pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Rancho Penasquitos. 13541 Stoney Creek Rd., San Diego, CA 92129.
