He grew up in North Dakota.
Allen went on to serve honorably in both the U.S. Navy and Marines.
Among Allen's hobbies were watching the Clippers basketball games. He enjoyed traveling all over, from Mexico to
Vietnam. He loved to sing and make Emma laugh every morning, he called her "Mi Amor". He loved having a fine steak at the Casinos in Vegas. He was Max's "Pappa" and Emma would say, "Go see Pappa".
Most importantly, he surrendered his Heart to Jesus Christ in April 2009 and became a new soldier...
He is survived by his loving wife, Emma, Noemi Miranda (daughter), Ruth Juarez (daughter), Mark Juarez (son), Justine & Melissa Miranda (twin granddaughters) and his siblings Selmer Sartwell (brother),
Sherain Olander (sister), Shirley Olsen (sister), Mona Bouchard (sister), Beverly Peterson (sister) and Linda BeCoteau (sister).
He is pre-deceased by Antelmo "Tony" Juarez (son).
