Gertrudes “Baby” Medina, age 82, passed away on Thursday April 3, 2025. A beloved wife, mother of 4, grandmother to 10 and friend and adopted grandmother to so many, Baby is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ding; devoted children Marla (husband David); son Gale; son Glenn (wife Stephanie); and daughter Mildred (husband Mike) and loving grandchildren Sofia, Alyssa, Christian, Justin, Caitlin, Isabella, Jalen (with ex-wife Jacklyn), Max, Grace, and Luz. Baby was born and raised in the Philippines where she lived until 1978 when she and Ding immigrated to the US to raise their children. In their golden years, Baby and Ding were known to sit and hold hands while listening to their music for hours in the day.
Baby was the heart of her family—a beautiful soul known for her constant smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
