He was born on April 22, 1949, in Revere, Massachusetts. Howie was a lovable, easygoing, and happy person before dementia took hold. He had a passion for rock 'n' roll music and enjoyed various jobs throughout his life, including working at a circus and as a roadie at rock concerts. Howie moved to San Diego to be closer to his brother Steve, and while living there, he cherished spending time at Coronado Beach.
Howie is survived by his brother Steve Marder of San Diego, California, and his sister Sandra Marder of Alameda, California. He was preceded in death by his father Myer Marder and his mother Charlotte Marder. Howie graduated from Revere High School.
A service to remember and honor Howie's life will be held on October 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Pacific Beach La Jolla Chapel located at 4710 Cass Street, San Diego, CA 92109. The funeral arrangements are being handled by the Trident Society in San Diego, CA.
