John Stanchak 78, died in San Diego on November 20, 2019 after a courageous fight against a rare blood disease.

He was born on August 12,1941 in Wickhaven, PA, the son of John and Amelia (Krasovic) Stanchak. He was the beloved husband of Constance (Sireci) Stanchak for 47 amazing years, which they spent in South Jersey, Pennsylvania & San Diego. Devoted father of Jennifer Stanchak, Christopher Stanchak, and his wife Jenny (Deuprey) Stanchak. Revered Pop-Pop of Isabelle & Alexander Stanchak, who absolutely adored him. Brother of the late Patricia (Stanchak) and Jim Duff, brother-in-law of John & Rita Sireci. He leaves behind a loving family and is survived by an aunt, uncle, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He also had many dear friends from both the East and West Coasts who loved him.

West Coast relatives and friends are invited to his first memorial service on Wednesday November 27th 11am-12pm at Cypress View Mausoleum located at 3953 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113. East Coast relatives and friends are invited to his second memorial service December 4th, 10:30am -11:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Church located at 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.

John was one of the most honorable people i have ever worked with. He was part of a great management team that help drive Octel to prominence. He was also kind and gracious to me personally in an often times charged environment. Thanks for everything John. RIP

Condolences to Connie and the Stanchak family. I worked with John for many years and he is the true definition of a gentleman. Kind and caring John was a true professional at his work and a beautiful family first man. A life well lived I will miss him!
