Jose Eugenio daGraca, Sr. was born November 13, 1915 in Fuseta, Portugal. After his childhood in Portugal, young Jose would make long fishing trips from Portugal with his father and grandfather to the Grand Banks, off Newfoundland. At the young age of 15, Jose and his family ended up in San Diego. Spending 44 years as a commercial fisherman and becoming a Master and Captain. He is survived by his beloved son Joe daGraca, Jr. Grandson Anthony daGraca, Granddaugher Janine Luna,and Great Great Grand Children Anthony daGraca, Andrea daGraca, Kevin Luna, and Ashley Luna. A Rosary and Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 11, 10 am at Goodbody Mortuary Chapel. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
