He was predeceased by his parents Maria C. And Belchior R. Mauricio as well as his brother Agostinho V Mauricio.
Jose is survived by his brother Adelino Mauricio (Blanca), his sister Maria C. Gonsalves (Robert), and his sister Lucy da Silva (Mario). He is also survived by his nephew Robbie Gonsalves (Emily), his niece Elisa Gonsalves, his great nephews Nicholas and Gabriel Gonsalves and his great niece Audrey Gonsalves.
