I learned about this wonderful person when the rest of the world did. She married Lee Majors best known today as TV's 6 Million Dollar Man.  Though he and Farrah had divorced I think her death hit him hard and finding Karen was not doubt a genuine blessing. 
It is all too easy to render a person as uni dimensional; to say something like "all she was was a.."   "He today will only be recalled because he.."   No one who knew Karen would ever start off a remark about her with a mere "She achieved fame/stardom however briefly for being/doing.."

I was sadly surprised when my late brother Mickeys girlfriend notified me about her passing tonight. We were friends in High School and then later tried being more than friends. She was so sweet and seemingly innocent and really loved and cared about everyone. Too many of us leave the Earth Too soon. Until we meet again. Love jj 😜 ❤️ ♥️

Unbelievable so sorry, Karen  and I were friends in high school went out a few times dating with friends, then fast forward 20 years my current wife and I bumped into her and Lee at a Rolling Stones concert, At the time Joe Robbie Stadium, 
She was super fun, free spirit. My mom passed away two days ago and I happen to see this terrible, the last time I talked to Sharon shortly after the concert didn’t really stay in touch, so terribly sad too young ! way way too young ! God bless her and her family and children. Amen.

I am shocked to read that Karin has passed away. I’ve been trying to reach her and this makes sense because she has passed on my condolence to her kids grandkids. I’ve known Karin since the 80s from our Playboy family we had been close over the years talking back-and-forth to each other as time went by, so I was kind very sweet had the biggest heart ever. I’m sorry to learn of Karen’s passing. It’s  so hard to believe and I apologize for not writing sooner. So many memories of jr high with her and our group of friends. Nikki, Dane & Trey, I loved babysitting for you and for your mom when you were small children in Fort Lauderdale.

I have wonderful memories of serving Karen and Lee at Geoffrey’s Malibu. I am saddened to hear this.  And I’m very sorry for the family’s loss.

My deepest condolences to her children and grandchildren. Karen was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved her family like no other. I have fond memories with Karen growing up in North Miami. I hope she is finally at peace - She will be missed by many!

I will miss our late night chats on messenger. And I will miss not seeing you as we had planned too. I always thought of you as the sweetest girl, always nice and the most beautiful outside as well.  Even when you were mad you didn't really do a good job of being mean. Your love for your family was unwavering. Your children, grandchildren, mother and siblings were  always the topic of your life.
