All this time later and I still hurt when I see Kathryn's photo and remember she's no longer here. She was what everyone has already said: funny, beautiful, compassionate, smart, empathetic, curious, brave, engaging... so special. She is missed every day. Until we meet again, you brilliant, looney beauty.

I will always remember her big laugh and the many great times we shared at work and beyond.

I worked for Kathryn for 12 years at FICO.  She was much more than a manager, she was also a friend.  We bonded over our shared love of purple, of Harry Potter, of Outlander, of cooking, of personal growth classes, of belly dancing, and so much more.

She was a remarkable woman - so very talented in so many ways.  My life has been better for her having been in it, and I will miss her ready laugh, her joie de vivre, and her sense of humor.

To her family and friends...  I talked to Kathryn every day of those 12 years we worked together, and I feel like I know you all.  I know how important you were to her and how well loved you were by her.  I share in your grief at her passing.

She is gone too soon, but didn't she shine brightly while she was here?  May we all find some comfort in that.

Kathryn was one of those women who always exuded pure joy! Her wit could take you from crying to laughing in a single one liner.

If you're not laughing at this, sadly, you did not know Kathryn Mellos Mahoney!

Kathryn, a remarkable Toastmasters member, left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In 2017, she proudly represented District 5 Toastmasters at the quarterfinals of the International Speech Contest in Vancouver, Canada, where her talent and dedication earned her 2nd Place.

Kathryn's warm heart, infectious smile, and incredible sense of humor brought boundless joy to everyone she encountered. Her absence will be keenly felt within District 5, and our thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time.

As I write this with tears in my eyes  She is with the lord.  She is with her maker and reborn  again  My condolences to her family and Georgia.  I was so amazed by h er. Her confidence  strong. Personally  despite many challenges . I always admired her when I watched her as as a little girl  Gone but never forgotten. I wish so much to be there, but know that Kathy would be gracious and understanding because I am located so far away. I knew and loved her my whole life and she was a super fun auntie to me. As a child her presence would spark the feelings of great love, amusement, community and joy. As an adult I admired her ability to find the best thing to say or if not the most hillarious way to say it.  I was amzaed by her artistic abilities and always blown away by her energetic spirit.  The times I got to be alongside her in her fight, I was astounded by her ability to have fun, smile, joke, and dance. I will love her always and especially miss her big kisses on both cheeks. She was very special to me, her kindness and supportive inspriation shall continue to help guide me through. I know how many lives she touched and it is sweet tears we cry for such a sweet friend.

I had the privilege of knowing Kathy during her 22-year tenure at FICO (Fair Isaac Corporation). Although we worked in different departments, Kathy brought levity to my days with her quick wit and razor-sharp sarcasm.

Kathy was recognized as an exceptional technical writer, specializing in software documentation crucial to the success of our clients and employees. The documents she produced enabled us to be better at our jobs, helping us manage and configure complex software systems more effectively.

Although it has been five years since we last met, the memory of Kathy’s humor and warm presence continues to resonate with me. I am deeply saddened by her passing. Kathy was a trusted colleague and friend; I hold her in high esteem.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Kathy's spirit and sharp sense of humor enhanced the lives of those around her, and she will be remembered with fondness and admiration.

I worked with Kathryn for many years. She was one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Always positive. Wicked sense of humor. Always up for fun. She was smart. She loved to share knowledge, and would never turn anyone away who wanted to learn something from her.

I considered her a friend at work.

This has hit me extremely hard. This is so unfair for her and her family.

I will miss her. And will remember her fondly. She was one of the good ones.

Kathy, I’m at a loss for words. You were the most amazing human being I’ve ever met. You were caring, loving, and the life of the party. I’m going to miss you friend. I’m going to miss your sassiness, your face, your silly texts and your friendship. I will forever hold you close in my heart and pray to see you again one day my friend. To Kathy’s family, I send my condolences and deepest sympathy.
