This picture says a thousand words about my friendship with Larry. Larry was open about his life and his health concerns. I  caught him a few times for conversation while he was doing his morning walks. All the days of our reunion planning was prime time with him around. We were all admiring his work particularly his collection of our high school pictures. He stands out in that particular facet and his work was viewed as one who has painstakingly worked on them. If theres any dominant trait that I felt very strongly about Larry, it was his passion for the things he does. He was kind and softspoken all the way. To his whole household, thank you for lending him to us for a season. We grieve with you for this great loss.

Larry, you made everything happen and you've always been in the forefront of getting things done. Our eBook, posters, flyers, logos, tickets, and other artistic designs were shared always with a smile. Even your eyes could not hide the satisfaction and pride you felt about your creations. Shipmate, we salute you for your outstanding work. What will we do without you!

When I was selected to be a Chief Petty Officer this year, Tito Larry personally reached out to congratulate me. It was such an honor and i felt very proud to hear that from him. During my transition to be a CPO, I had to create and carry a book that was referred to as a "Charge" book. Or what people could compare it to be a journal but with a more deeper meaning in my opinion. I wouldn't really write any personal entries myself, instead I would reach out to other CPOs to write an entry in it for me aka a "charge" hence the name. With Tito Larry being a retired HMC, he sent me his very own personal charge. It stated, Chief select Kris Caguioa: What is the purpose of the Chief Select Charge book… 
The Charge book is a Navy tradition that started in the second World War and is used to by chief selects to record wisdom and guidance for future use.  Be the Chief, be the difference, but most of all, be there for your family. CONGRATS! HMC (Ret) Larry N Caguioa. He sent me this charge on 18SEP23@1430 JST and this was the last real conversation I had with Tito Larry.
