Lilibeth F. Santos was the third of seven children of Jose and Ines Santos. She was born in Hermosa, Bataan, Philippines. In the beginning she would attend my mother’s class and learned how to write her name and recite a few sentences. Later she lost interest and just went to mingle with the family and watching TV.
She came to the US in 1995. Again, we tried to get her go to school but by then she also lost interest.
She devoted her time once again to watching TV, looking around the house seemingly rearranging things, walking in the backyard garden and kidding around with family. She had a lot of joy in simple things and seeing people visit.
Lilibeth is survived by our mother, Ines and six siblings: Rene, Joseph, Jaime, Phines, Robert, and Marilen. Our dad is surely happy to be with his favorite child.
