Lisa Truong who most called “Ma ma”, departed her loving family on September 24, 2021, after a long battle with lung cancer. She was 90 years old. She is survived by her four children, Mark, Bao, Felix, Hieu. She was born in Saigon Vietnam with surviving younger sister Meda Wong and younger brother Tam Truong.
Determine to build a better life for her children she immigrated to San Diego, California with her husband, Khieu Trinh. Strong willed and hard working she provided the best for her children and grandchildren. She worked at a print shop, was adore by her coworkers. She retired early taking care of her sick husband before his passing. She loved to travel and has visited China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Europe, and Thailand.
She fought her illness for 12 years determine to show the beautiful side of herself. She had surgery to remove 1/4 of her lungs due to tumor and 5 years ago had a relapse yet she over come it all. She was our “VIP”, Very Independent Person! She managed to drive until early 80’s everyone can recall her driving across Mexico boarder by accident.
She was caring and went out of her way to care for her friends and family, she will be dearly missed.
