

He was the youngest of three brothers. Marlon attended elementary school in El Cajon and middle school in Chula Vista, both in California. Marlon moved to Arlington, Tennessee where he began his high school years. Marlon relocated to San Diego, California where he continued his high school education.
Marlon accepted Christ at an early age at Bethel A.M.E. Church located in San Diego, CA.
Growing up. Marlon actively participated in football. He was best known for his competitive attitude by his teammates and parents. Marlon was a handsome young man with a bountiful heart. He was a loving Son, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. All who knew him were immediately taken by his gracious smile, quick wit and generous spirit.
Marlon was preceded in death by his mother Yvette Love and his Grandfather Walter Thomas.
Marlon departed his life on earth April 25, 2014. Those left to cherish fond memories include, his Father, Marvin Thomas Sr.:
two Brothers, Jacorey Laws and Marvin Thomas Jr., his Grandmother, Gustine Jenkins; six Aunts, four uncles, and a host of cousins and friends
