Maureen Celia Hoch passed away with her loving husband by her side on October 28th, 2021 at the age of 59. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was a registered nurse who spent her career caring for others. Maureen was a lifelong Iowa Hawkeye fan and a big San Diego Padre fan; she enjoyed the outdoors and was looking forward to working on her photography hobby; she cared greatly for the dogs of the world. Maureen was a devout Catholic who lived and loved by her faith.
Maureen was born in Lansing, Iowa on August 18th, 1962 to Vincent and Rosemary Mooney. She graduated from Kee High School and received a nursing degree from Kirkwood Community College. She married David Hoch on June 24th, 1995. They had two sons, Joshua and Nicholas. Maureen loved being a wife and mother.
Maureen is predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Terry Mooney (Julie). She is survived by her husband, David Hoch; her two sons, Joshua and Nicholas Hoch; her two brothers, Patrick (Chris) and Timothy (Julie) Mooney; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
