Michael Burke Scanlon

Michael Burke Scanlon, age 82 of Pauma Valley, California passed away on February 2nd 2016, died at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 18, 1933 to Michael and Olivia Scanlon. Michael attended high school at Western Military Academy in Illinois and then was drafted in the Army to serve our country in the years 1954 - 1956.
Michael was an entrepreneur of various business ventures in his lifetime and enjoyed his hobbies of photography, travel, golf and piloting small planes.
Michael is survived by his partner of 40 years, Veronica "Billie" Hakes of La Jolla, CA, son Burke of St. Louis, Mo., daughter-in-law Margo and grandchildren Katheryne of Kansas City, Kansas and Daniel of St. Louis, Mo.
Michael was predeceased by his daughter Pamela Susan Scanlon, brother David Scanlon and sister Olivia Moskowitz.
