Pauline Bagnasco, born on July 5, 1943, in Toritto, Italy, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 81. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Antonio, with whom she shared 58 blessed years of marriage.
Pauline was a loving mother to her three children, Maria Hodsdon (Steve), Diane Zaso (Joe), and Sal Bagnasco (Ester). She was also a doting “Nonna” to eight grandchildren—Priscilla, Marissa, Sabrina, Joey, Julia, Anthony, Sofia, and Jasper—whom she adored. Her love extended to her four beautiful great-granddaughters: Giselle, Gianna, Addison, and Scottie.
She is survived by her sister, Diana Castoro, and was preceded in death by her father, Nicola Castoro, her mother, Antoinetta Agosto, and her brother, Richard Castoro.
Pauline touched the lives of everyone who knew her, leaving behind a Christ-centered legacy of love, kindness, and warmth. A devoted prayer warrior for her family and friends, she will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at El Camino Memorial – Sorrento Valley & Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, California 92121.
