Precious M Driver

On December 21, 2022, Precious Melody Driver, who was beloved by her family and friends, passed away in San Diego, California. She was forty-three. Precious was born in Naples, Italy in 1979 as the only child to the Navy family of Edgar and Melody Driver. The family relocated to San Diego when Precious was three years old. She loved the city and eventually settled there to establish her career and build her own family as an adult.

She earned two master's degrees from San Diego State University, an MBA in Accountancy and an MSA in Taxation, and had a successful career as an accountant. Precious was known for her sharp intellect and warm personality and she quickly made a lasting impression on those she met. She married her beloved husband Michael Petrosky in 2015 and created a family of two daughters and two dogs. Above all, Precious’ greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She is survived by her husband Michael Petrosky, her daughters Daisy Petrosky and Caroline Petrosky, and her adoptive family of Karen Madsen, Larry Eskew, Sarah Madsen, and Anna Madsen. She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Melody.

A Funeral Service for Precious will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Pacific Beach - La Jolla Chapel, 4710 Cass Street, San Diego, CA 92109.

A Reception will follow at the same location from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Precious was taken from us far too soon, was loved deeply by all and is missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the San Diego Humane Society, www.sdhumane.org or the Sjogren’s Foundation https://www.sjogrens.org/ in Precious’ name.
