Ruguang Yang, 85, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025. Born in Qiqihar, China, he worked as an electrical engineer and shared 60 loving years of marriage with his wife, Mingli, after meeting in Xi’an.
Ruguang loved exploring new technology and enjoyed a quiet life in San Diego surrounded by family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Yi; granddaughter Rachel and grandson-in-law Chris; and great-granddaughter Kaia. His family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved wife.
A committal and burial service is scheduled for February 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
