Sai, May your soul rest in peace.
Sai was always happy, upbeat and fit and healthy. 
I remember when we used to have lunch meeting on Fridays at Neopoint, June and I used to go to get lunches to everyone and kept them on the side until the meetings were over. One Friday, the meeting lasted longer than usual, and before the meeting was over, Sai uttered out something like  Meeting can wait but my hunger cannot!! and made me laugh so much.  When he went on vacation, he asked me to take care of his plants in his office.  I was watering everyday so I won't kill them. Then I found out the plants were full of tiny flies probably due to too much water. They escaped from his office and went all over the building and people were wondering where all the flies are coming from. So I had to quietly take Sai's plants outside and watered there the rest of his vacation. I remember these little things. Although it is almost 20 years ago, these things came to my mind when I heard Sai's passing.
Life is fleeting but it seems so unfair for Sai's family to experience the loss so suddenly.

Dear Sai - 
I just found out and I am having a tough time believing that you are physically no longer with us. It feels like it was just yesterday that we met on Bernardo Mountain by Lake Hodges. You were jogging easily up the slope while I was dragging myself along the trail that Saturday morning. You were in phenomenal shape.  
At Qualcomm, you were among the first few people I met when I joined in 2009. You were the RF systems lead while I was working on the chipset architecture on the SVLTE project. I remember being thoroughly impressed with the depth and breadth of your knowledge of RF systems. Easygoing and articulate, you rarely ever came to meetings with a laptop to distract you. When you were in a meeting, you were 100% there. The details that you unearthed on the SVLTE RF was crucial to that first HTC (Thunderbolt) product work right. Since that project I had always gone to you as my first point of reference for RF systems. You were patient to a fault and would take any amount of time to explain the fundamentals. That never changed over the years through all the different MDM's and till 5G came around. Very few people would have given the time.
With you I have lost a great friend, a teacher and a colleague. I will miss you greatly. My heart goes out to your wife Shermen and your children Seth and Samantha. They will be proud to know how highly we think of you and how much we miss your presence.

It was amazing playing pingpong with Sai and watching him win the championship several times in QCOM tournament. His kindness, modesty and greatness will be always remembered.

I was a colleague of Sai at Qualcomm for about 10 years and even though we didn't work together on projects, we did discuss various work related topics.  He was particular concerned with all his direct reports, diligent when it came to review time - a caring person.  However I will remember most many hallway and elevator conversations on Table Tennis and Boulder.  My son went to CU Boulder and his advice was appreciated.  Sai I will miss you, rest in peace!

I have the privilege to meet and work with Mr. Kwok when I was an intern in Qualcomm in 2012. He is such a kind, humble and modest person to talk to. I started to know Sai not long after I joined Qualcomm as a fresh grad. I still remembered the meeting where I first met Sai. Even before I officially joined Qualcomm , I already heard about Sai from my manager (David Love) during the interview, where Dave shared with me his memory with Sai in a business trip to China. It was after I personally interacted with Sai did I realize why so many people think so highly of Sai. He is such a professional, knowledgeable, educated, approachable, and helpful colleague! I worked with Sai on quite a few projects when I was in different departments - CE, IPS and RF System. Sai has been tremendously helpful to me in all these phases. I will always remember the guidance, the mentorship, the care, and the help he offered me during my years in Qualcomm. I am very thankful to get to work with such a wonderful person, to know him personally, and to learn from him beyond technical aspect.
Sai, you will be deeply missed. May you have peace in another world. May your surviving family pass on your optimism, passion, and courage of life.

I fondly remember our business trips we took together to asia. I recall during our first trip together he was worried about speaking Mandarin to our Chinese customers as he thought it wasn't that good. However , by the end of our tour he freely conversed in mandarin to our customers which they greatly appreciate. One of the nicest and most professional guys I had the pleasure to work with. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.   He will be sorely missed.

Deeply sorry for the sudden loss of Sai. He was such a great coworker and ping pong master and coach. Even though I'm a much lower level ping pong player, he was always happy to play with me when asked. I learned a lot ping pong skills from him. RIP, Sai.

I have known Sai thru his passion for table tennis, and had the privilege of working on the Qualcomm Table Tennis Tournament organizing committee on more than one occasion. I always admired his humble and gentle nature and will miss his presence.

To Sai's family, I extend my heartfelt sympathy. Sai is a great and talented coworker, always smiling and willing to help. Sai's passaway is a big loss for us. Words can not express our sadness. May peace be with Sai.

I first knew Sai back in 2009 when we took night classes together at work, and I remember that we always sat together at the front row. He impressed me much with his superb intellect, great attention to details and more so for his friendliness and willingness to help. Since then we had worked together on a few projects over the years, and I also got to know him more outside of work. An avid runner, he kept himself in good shape while excel in table-tennis where everyone who played with him marveled at his skills. And because of his good healthy habits, his sudden departure gave me lasting shock till this day, on top of great sorrows.

A genuinely all-round great human being - Sai, may you rest in peace in Heaven, and thank you very much for everything you have helped us on over the years, and may God continue to have mercy and blessings on your surviving family.

Sai was the President of the Hong Kong Students and Alumni Association (HKSAA) at CU Boulder, while I was a student there.  I remember him as such a kind, humble and selfless person.  As a second-generation ABC, he made me feel so welcome into the group - where I had the opportunity to embrace my Chinese heritage.  More than that though, he became a good friend and mentor (helping several of us navigate our course as undergraduate students).  My deepest condolences to Sai's family.

To Sai's family,
I am deeply saddened by the news of Sai passing. It is so shocking to me and our team. Just two days before this saddening event, Sai has been actively working with me and other cross functional team to solve customer issues. He was so energetic, and his mind was crystal clear at that time. 
Sai and I have known for more than 10 years and we worked through multiple projects in Qualcomm. He is highly respected by our team for his professional knowledge in wireless communication system. From time to time when I read the RF system memos, I can find Sai's work years ago still instrumental. 
What a huge loss to all of us: to Sai's friends, to Sai's colleagues, and most preciously to your dear family.
Sai, may you have peace in heaven, may God bless your family and kids.

It was a great pleasure to interact with Sai, even though we were never on the same projects, over the course of time our paths crossed often. He was always friendly and kind and he always had a smile. He clearly enjoyed his life as a father and was proud of his twins.

A dear old friend from CU Boulder grad school days.   Decades back now, but still remember Sai as a super nice guy, always cheerful, friendly and helpful.  What a good decision it was to introduce him to Shermen, my dearest even older friend from school in Hong Kong.  The 2 love birds overcame the one and a half thousand miles of distance and eventually settled in San Diego and grew their beautiful family.  May the young family be blessed with strength and courage.  May Sai rest in peace.

Sai and I were the very few students at CU Boulder that were grew up in Macau. We became very good friends during my last few years at CU. To me, he was not only a close friend I could talk to but also a very intelligent mathematician. He could solve difficult math problems correctly and quickly. I was very impressed. I learned a lot from him while I was in school. Over the years, his ping-pong skill was getting better and better because he kept practicing and going to competitions. He is a very self-control and persistent person. We had a lot of good times at CU. I will missed him very much.

You will always be remembered for your kind, jovial and full of life attitude. You were not only my technical mentor but also a friend and colleague who i can always rely on for a wise advice . You have always been so caring and inspiring to the people around you. I have always seen you smiling and keeping your calm even during the most tense situations at work. I will very much miss our hallway conversations on wide array of topics ranging from fitness and family to life philosophy. You will always stay in the heart of the people who love and admire you. I had the great pleasure of accompanying Sai on a two-week trip to China around 2004 for Qualcomm. I was in the applications group at the time and Sai was helping us support our launch of RFCMOS. We travelled to about 8 different cities and Sai was our technical powerhouse with customers. He was also our tour guide in the off hours as his Mandarin was becoming quite good at the time. We saw Xian together and the Terra Cotta soldiers. There is more I hope I can work up the courage to share at the service. I really got to know Sai very well on our last night in Hong Kong. He was a superb person, always improving himself and inspirational to those around him. I have met a lot of great people in 21 years at Qualcomm but I always considered Sai to be at the top of my list of favorite people there. Even though we saw each other a little less often as time went on he was quick with a friendly smile whenever we saw each other. Dear Sai, I Learned a lot from you before and will remember you forever.

Sai, thanks for being my manager for the five years I worked in Qualcomm. I enjoyed our bi-weekly talk. You are such a kind person that everyone enjoys working with you. After constantly beaten by you on table tennis for several years, I jokingly said the only chance I can win you will be in the next life. Now you are there, have some rest, don't get head start. We will play again.

I have worked with Shermen and I remember meeting Sai and Shermen at a doctor's office (we had the same doctor at some point). They struck me as such a harmonious couple. That brief encounter also made me think what a great husband and companion he must be. Dear Shermen, know that there are people praying for you and your family.

I knew him and played the table tennis with him for years, and sometimes on daily basis. My last play with him was Jan 17, 2018, and I could not believe this. Please take care in another side of the world. Bless.

 I worked closely with Sai about 9 years ago and he helped to commercialize a new technology. He was all about solving problems no matter how impossible it looked at the time. I miss his calm, methodical, and friendly presence. My condolences to Sai's family.
