Shirley Mitchell Gowen, age 90, of San Diego, California passed away on Saturday September 29, 2018. Shirley was born April 22, 1928 in Townsville, Australia to Charles and Esther Mitchell, and she was married to Victor F. Gowen.
Shirley had a love for life and family. Family gatherings were very important to Shirley, you would find her in the kitchen cooking for these wonderful times together. Shirley also enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, and eating seafood, especially lobster was her favorite meal.
Shirley is survived by; son Dale Gowen; son Brent Gowen; and son Grant Gowen. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Victor F. Gowen; and son Gary Gowen.
