Stephen Montgomery Roberts II

A viewing will be held from 4 PM to 10 PM on Thursday July 18th, 2013 at Merkley-Mitchell Mortuary, 3655 5th Ave. San Diego, CA 92103. A Rosary will be held by Father Lawrence at 7 pm.

Stephen was a native Californian. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and continued his studies at Miramar College until starting a career at the Mission Valley Costco.

Stephen’s passion was music, friends, family, and his dog Optimus Prime (Opy). His zest for life was contagious and he always put the well-being of others before his own. He touched so many lives in so many ways. Every person who speaks of him has their own amazing story, each one different. His short time on this earth has left us all with an eternal stamp on our hearts. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Stephen is survived by his Parents, Karrie & David Roberts, Sisters, Stephenie & Emmalie Roberts, Grandfather and namesake Stephen Roberts, Grandmother, Mary-Cecile Roberts, and girlfriend Kayla Kaveney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations and messages of condolence may be sent to the Merkley-Mitchell Mortuary, attention Karrie Roberts. The family of Stephen wishes to thank the staff of Scripps Mercy Hospital who took Stephen, his family, and friends as part of their own. Thank you for the tireless efforts to save Stephen many times. They would also like to thank the Costco Wholesale Family for their unwavering support during these trying times.
