Suphakit came to the United States in 1989 and settled down in Solana Beach.
Suphakit was a devout Buddhist who spent majority of his time volunteering at the Thai temple in Escondido where he would eventually meet his wife, Narumol Sibounhom. Suphakit and Narumol married at the Thai temple in 1992 where they continued to volunteer together.
Suphakit passed away on March 10, 2025 and is survived by his two children, Michelle and Peter, and his grandson, Grayson.
A visitation for Suphakit will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, 3953 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 3953 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113. A witness cremation will occur Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM, 3953 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113.
