Born in Vietnam, he served as a helicopter pilot and mechanic in the South Vietnam Military fighting bravely in the Vietnam War. In April of 1975, he immigrated to the United States on the USS Midway, becoming one of the first vietnamese immigrants in the country. He worked tirelessly for his siblings to find refuge and start a new life. He married Angie Huynh in December of 1985, purchased their family home in 1986, and founded Hai’s Auto Repair 2 in 1992. In 2013, he became one of the first patients to undergo a successful AngioVac procedure. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones
Tai is survived by his wife, Angie Huynh; his son Michael Diep (Cristina Tran); his son Brian Diep (Cecilia Diep); and his daughter Tammy Diep; his granddaughter Chloe Diep and his grandson Brandon Diep.
A buddhist casketing service "lễ nhập liệm", lễ cầu siêu, lễ phát tang" for Tai will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 9:00 AM. A visitation "thăm viếng" will occur Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A funeral ceremony "lễ di quan" will occur Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1:30 PM. A witness cremation will occur Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:30 PM.
