Mr. Vicente Ngo The Vinh was born on February 16, 1944 in Nam Dinh, Việt Nam. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. In 1954, his family endured immense hardship, losing everything as they migrated from Nam Dinh to Saigon. Despite these challenges, Mr. Vinh displayed remarkable resilience and ingenuity, founding a wine brewery and a farm at just 18 years old, all without the guidance of his own father by his side.
After marrying Ms. Therese Dang Tuyet Minh, Mr. Vinh continued to prioritize his family’s well-being. He opened a machine shop in Saigon, ensuring a more comfortable urban lifestyle for his children. Known for his unwavering dedication to family and strong work ethic, he faced countless obstacles with grace and determination. Although the machine shop thrived, Mr. Vinh made another courageous decision to migrate to the United States, seeking greater opportunities for his children. He often reassured his wife and children that this choice, while difficult, was also clear—because family always came first.
On January 7, 2025, Mr. Vinh passed away peacefully at Scripps Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. We extend our deepest gratitude to the relatives and friends who were part of Mr. Ngo’s life. Your thoughts, prayers, and support mean the world to us during this difficult time.
