She was born in Flagler, a small farming community in eastern Colorado, on January 16, 1954 to Jacob and Lila Lora (Loutzenhiser) Brouwer. She was the youngest of four children, Donald Eugene Brouwer, Larry Gordon Brouwer, and Janet Lorrene (Brouwer) Brandt. She is predeceased by both parents and by her oldest brother. Wanda is survived by her husband, Steven Edward Faivre, and by her two adult children, Cosette Marie Faivre and Jesse Steven Faivre. She is also survived by three aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces, and many caring friends.
