Jessie Medellin Barrios

Jessie was born in Los Angeles, CA to Santiago Medellin and Dorotea Esparza on July 30, 1925. She passed away June 27, 2014 in Arleta, CA.

She married Amador Borunda Barrios in 1945. They lived in Mission Hills, CA. Jessie and Amador enjoyed 27 years of marriage before he passed away in 1972. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ysidro, Joseph and Daniel and her great grandson Baby Jason. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Medellin Barrios; a son, Amador Daniel Barrios; two brothers, Robert and Peter; a sister, Teresa; three grandchildren, Amador Jason Barrios, Gypsy Marie Lopez and Robert Barrios Diaz; three great grandchildren, Crystal Marie Barrios, Alijah Marie Lopez and Andrew Amador Barrios.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 4-7 pm with a Rosary at 7pm at J.T. Oswald in San Fernando, CA.

Funeral mass will be held at 8am Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Mary Immaculate Church in Pacoima, CA. Burial to immediately follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery
