

Anna Maria Cipollina, born January 12, 1944 entered into eternal peace on March 11, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born in Parma, Italy and came to San Francisco when she was 10 years old. She was well known for greeting many locals and visitors with a friendly smile and open heart at the U.S. Restaurant, which she owned with her family for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luigi and Maria Borzoni, father in-law Giuseppe and mother in-law, Concetta Cipollina, brother in-law Loriano Belluomini. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alberto Cipollina, son, Claudio (Tracy) Cipollina, daughter, Laura (Carlo) Celi, grandchildren, Michela, Joseph and Jack. She is also survived by her sister, Anita Belluomini, brother, John (Lourdes) Borzoni, sister in-laws, Mariuccia (Vito) Cognata, Brunella (Franco) Leggio, Loredana (Francesco) Ligiato and many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Italy. A special thanks to her niece Alma Landi and nephew Dino Belluomini for always being by her side. Strong in her faith and devoted to family and friends, Anna was always happy and she spread cheer to so many. She will be lovingly remembered for her big heart and sense of humor. To know her, was to love her. She will be greatly missed. A Rosary will be held Sunday, March 15, at 7:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass March 16, at 1:30 p.m. Both services will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, San Francisco. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salesians Boys and Girls Club, 680 Filbert Street, San Francisco, CA 94133.
