After graduating from Trumbull High School, Harry earned his undergraduate degree in Management/Finance and then went on to earn his MBA in finance at Sacred Heart University.
While Harry pursued a career in the corporate world of banking, the aircraft industry, and telecommunications, his true passion was art; a passion he shared with his mother since the age of five. After losing his mother in 1996, Harry decided to focus his energy on bringing his creativity to life. For the last 27 years, Harry’s creative art generated countless paintings that have been displayed at various art exhibits in the Bridgeport, Stratford, and Easton Libraries, Churches and Civic Organizations to name a few. Harry once said, “Art is a relationship. It, and your understanding of it, grows and changes throughout the journey of life. My vision is to spread that relationship.”
He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, William and Jehu; five sisters, Arlene, Lanette, Gloria, Pennanah, and Mary; nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of beloved sorrowing friends whom he held closely to his heart as family. In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by his grandparents, his brother; Franklyn and three sisters; Marcella, Rosemary and Crystal.
Harry will always be remembered by his laughter, as a straight shooter, enthusiastic traveler, a caring individual and a confidante/friend to many.
A Private Memorial will be held in his honor on March 7, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harry’s name to the Bridgeport Public Library.
