A SFPD Patrol Special Police Officer for more than 43 years and a participating member of the Italian Community, John was a member of the Olympic Club for 70 years; a member of the S.F. Veteran Police Officer Association, the International Police Officer Association; Life member of the S.F. Italian Athletic American Club; Life member of the V.F.W., Post 4618, the American Legion Police/Fire Post 456; Life member of the Knights of Columbus and he served in the Korean War on the U.S.S. Oriskany, CVA 34 for 7 years.
Friends are welcome for visitation from 4 to 8PM, Sunday, September 29, with Vigil Service at 7PM at HALSTED N. GRAY – CAREW & ENGLISH, 1123 Sutter St. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30AM, Monday, September 30, 2013 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 666 Filbert St., SF. Interment Private.
