Louise R Cuneo

Louise Rose Cuneo passed away peacefully at her residence at The Carlisle on December 24, 2025, in San Francisco at the age of 95. Louise was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Lena (Demartini) Cuneo. A lifelong resident of the North Beach neighborhood or San Francisco, Louise was born at home just one block from the home where she resided in and loved most of the rest of her life. Louise worked for Bank of America for 32 years where she retired as a new account specialist. She enjoyed travel, especially in Italy and other parts of Europe, and cruises up and down the Pacific coast accompanied by family and dear friends. She enjoyed tending to her garden, maintaining her apartment building (which she did by herself until her last year!), and sampling the many dining options in North Beach and San Francisco. She was kind, generous, a lifelong member of the St. Peter and Paul Church parish where she attended mass regularly, and more than anything, enjoyed her family and friends, many of whom departed this life before her and who she has joyfully rejoined now.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church (666 Filbert St., San Francisco) Jan 6 at 10:30 am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
