Richard Dante Bacigalupi

BACIGALUPI, Richard Dante – Passed away at his home in San Francisco on Friday, July 24, 2015. He is the loving son of the late Renald D. (2004) and Josephine M. (1986) Bacigalupi. He leaves behind a brother, Renald Joseph (Anna); a nephew, Renald Jason; a great-nephew, Renald James; and many precious and cherished cousins.

Richard was born on December 6, 1957 and grew up in North Beach. He went to SS Peter and Paul grammar school, Sacred Heart high school and graduated from St. Mary's College in 1980. Richard worked as a Manufacturer's Representative and was very gifted when it came to sales.

Rich loved working on his motorcycles and enjoyed many road trips with his good buddies. He took pride in his classic car and spent countless hours in his garage shining it up.

Richard cared deeply for his family and adored spending time with them especially at the ranch in Napa. His warm smile brought happiness and laughter to every gathering.

Rich excelled in the art of conversation and had the unique ability to engage people of all ages and walks of life. He cultivated many lasting friendships in his 57 years.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Richard's life will take place Tuesday, August 11th at 10:30am at SS Peter and Paul Church 666 Filbert Street, San Francisco CA. Richard will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Interment will be private. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity.
