Robert Maximillion Light

With broken hearts, the Light family announces the passing of Robert Maximillion Light, who left us on July 14, 2025, in San Francisco, California. Born on August 16, 1973 in Pocatello Idaho, Robbie grew up the eldest of siblings and a shining light to those who knew him.

From a young age, Robbie’s creativity was evident as he had a special gift as a very talented artist. He grew into a person with an adventurous spirit with a passion for the outdoors that led him to explore hiking, mountain biking, and photography, while skateboarding was another of his many hobbies. Robbie also had a deep love for music especially the 70s genre, and playing in bands throughout his life. Robbie’s life was filled with the thrill of discovery, and he lived it with an open heart and a curiosity.

After growing up in Utah, Robbie sought out new adventures joining the coast guard and living in Hawaii, always chasing the next adventure.

Robbie is preceded in death by his youngest sibling, Randall. He is survived by his parents, Aaron and Gail, and his siblings: Bryan, Mary, Todd, and Erin-Leigh, as well as an older sister Erin, whom Robbie never had the chance to meet.

A private burial will be held at a later date for family.

Robbie will be deeply missed.
