Ronald Douglas Weber

Ron, as he was known was a San Francisco native was born in 1931.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, was employed by Pan American Airlines and Atkinson Dynamics. He was an avid volunteer giving of his time selflessly to the Stonestown Family YMCA and the San Francisco Fire Department Neighborhood Emergency Response Team. He was an avid HAM RADIO operator and a San Francisco Giants fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother Leticia C. Weber, father Karl Paul Weber, Stepmother Katherine "Peggy" Weber, sister Lorraine Weber Champion and brother-n-law John Clyde Champion.

He is survived by his niece Pamela Champion Price of Odessa, Texas, nephews Wayne Douglas Champion of Snellville, GA and Steven William Champion of Statesboro, GA. Also his grandnieces Megan K. Champion, Sarah E. Champion both of Snellville, GA, Mikala L. Champion of Statesboro, GA and grandnephews David M. Champion of Atlanta, GA and Michael A. Champion of Statesboro, GA

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Stonestown Family YMCA or your local YMCA or the San Francisco Fire Department Neighborhood Emergency Response Team program or your local Fire Department.

A brief Military Service will be held at 11am, Wednesday March 4, 2015 at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park Columbaria and an informal wake that night at 6 pm at the Stonestown Family YMCA.
