Janene Michelle McCann

Janene McCann, age 58, a loving mother of two, passed away in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 13th in her Alhambra home after a long few months of stomach issues. Janene was born in 1964 in Pasadena and grew up surrounded by her loving parents, sister, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. She was influenced by her family to be a kind and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her occupation and motherhood. Janene started her own family in 1989 when she had Lauren and was soon followed by Cody in 1990. As a mother, she was inviting, warm, and showered her children with love. In her free time, Janene enjoyed baking, shopping, spending time with her dogs,  and talking to strangers in line at the grocery store about recipes. She was a people person and spread joy wherever she went! Janene spent most of her adult life taking care of people as a home health care aide where she spent 16 years with the Cohn's who became extended family to her. She will greatly be missed by her family and friends.

We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and beautiful mother.

Janene leaves her cherished memories with her two children and their families: Lauren and Cody (Stephanie) Parks, along with her grandchildren Danielle and Allison, and sister Christiana (James) Miller.
